Photos of your apartment create the first impression on your potential buyer/tenant. What are some important things to keep in mind while taking pictures of your real estate?
1. Take horizontal pictures.
As everyone nowadays has access to camera through their smart phone, it’s easy to take pictures of our real estate without inviting a professional photographer. However, people have the tendency to take pictures vertically. Not only does this limit the amount of things you can capture on a photo, it also doesn’t look good. The intention of your real estate photos should be to capture potential buyers/tenants attention. If the picture looks bad, it will just divert their attention to other better looking properties.
2. Take time and take sharp photos with good lighting.
As we mentioned earlier, good photos capture attention of potential buyers/tenants, bad photos divert their attention from our property. Take your time and make sure that your photos are in a good quality. The picture are steady and sharp. Best tip would be, take multiple pictures and pick only those that are sharp. In addition, make sure your pictures are taken during the day and are well light. Light will give your photos additional level of quality.
AD|3. Create rich pictures
A good real estate picture is a picture that shows the buyer/tenant something important. The picture needs to show how does the living room look like. What appliances are in the kitchen. How does the bathroom look like. DON’T take pictures of just a door in your hallway, this picture is pointless and gives the buyer/tenant no information at all, Always keep in mind that picture should include multiple features.
4. Upload at least 5 pictures
Properties that don’t have any photos don’t draw any attention. But what is the ideal number of pictures? Always keep in mind that at least 5 pictures should be included. Include pictures of the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room. If your property is small, include photos from different angles. This will give the buyer/tenant a good idea how your property looks.
